Education has seen a tremendous improvement in the past decade. Thanks to Internet, the opportunity to learn is abundant. We all received food education during our early days. But unfortunately, we are Unlearning everything related to good eating. Part of it can be attributed to strong marketing about unhealthy foods and the rise of supermarket culture.
There are many arguments if the Cancer rates are increasing over the last few decades or staying flat. Though it is true that the death rates are coming down due to the advancement in medicinal technology, the disease is nowhere on the decline. Primary reasons for Cancer include poor and unhealthy diet, obesity and exposure to chemical substances.
A simple Google search of Obesity in USA will show you that about 2/3 of the Adult population above the age of 20 is Obese. What could be a good reason other than a bad diet and the stupendous rise of fast food consumption?
Do you know how to identify a highly processed food from a natural one?
How do you distinguish good fats from bad ones?
What fruits have a high vulnerability for pesticide residues?
What are organic and locally grown foods?
Some of you may have answers but many don’t.
